Texas Career and Transition Initiative’s Successful Career Service Practices Webinar Series
On behalf of the Texas Network for Teaching Excellence, I would like to invite you to our free, live Successful Career Service Practices webinar series, to be held July 12 through August 23 at 10:00 a.m. CST.The Texas Career and Transition Initiative (TCTI) is a collaborative project lead by Lone Star College System and its main objective is to develop a comprehensive training program highlighting effective practices for career services. The Network is now making these modules available to community and technical colleges’ faculty, administrators, advisors, counselors and career service professionals.
Most Texas community and technical colleges are struggling to meet the career services needs of students due to financial and human resource constraints. Yet career services are essential to assist students in the completion of degree programs and securing viable employment in their chosen fields. Individual colleges across the state will share the unique tools and successful techniques proven effective for their students. Presented by counselors and career service directors from Lone Star College System, Amarillo College and Texas State Technical College.
