The Texas Network for Teaching Excellence, led by Austin Community College District, offers web-based activities to support career and technical education (CTE) in Texas. The Texas Network’s mission is to address the professional development and training needs of secondary and post-secondary career and technical educators in Texas.
Now in its fifth year, The Texas Network continues its mission by focusing on dual credit education and instruction. The goal is to prepare students for college and career success and to improve the quality of CTE education by offering professional development training modules and webinars in the area of dual credit.

In an effort to help educators sharpen their skills and keep up with the latest developments in dual credit education, The Texas Network seeks acknowledged content experts to develop dual credit training modules. Training modules and webinars are encouraged on any of the following topics, this list includes but is not limited to the following topics:

Content experts interested in developing a module or webinar should contact The Texas Network for more information. The Texas Network Project Coordinator, Renee Hernandez (email: .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)) will work closely with content developers to design effective, visually appealing, and interactive modules, and webinars. Selected modules will be distributed electronically through The Texas Network’s website and be available at no cost to community colleges in Texas.
